Richie Marchosky is from the Republic of Panama, where his
love for performance began. While attending Bradley University,
in Peoria Illinois, where he received a B.S. in business, Richie
managed to tour around the world teaching his movement
seminars. Richie is also a graduate of New World School of The
Arts where he received a B.F.A. in Dance. While at New World
Richie was one of the first few students who was commissioned
a professional piece of work. As a choreographer he has worked
with many artists including Pop Star Fey in her tour “El Color de
los SueƱos.”
As a triple threat (actor, singer, dancer), Richie has successfully
performed on the stage where he received great reviews for his
performance as Sammy in the musical “Now and Then.” Richie
is also a member of The Screen Actors Guild and has performed
as a principal in commercials for Coca Cola, Budweiser, AT&T,
MCI, Region’s Bank and Wendy’s just to name a few. From
2001 to 2004 Richie worked for Mun2/NBC where he hosted and
produced “Chat,” and did stories for “The Report.” As a host of
Chat, Richie received a Shine award for outstanding television, and
in 2004 he received an Emmy nomination for best public service
show host. From 2005 to 2006 Richie worked as a producer/
writer for “Revolution,” MTVla’s broadband site. As of 2007
Richie has been working with Duck Tours South Beach as their
head tour guide, performing 10 to 12 shows a week, and writing all
their scripts.
