Slim Rock Meets his Inspiration: Frankie Valli

DJ Slim Rok noted "it's just one of those moments when you realize your making it," in response to opening up for Frankie Valli at a private VIP event at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Slim was grateful for the opportunity to meet the man who inspired him to pursue his passion for music and was able to express his gratitude by showing Mr. Valli the first cassette tape he received from his mother at the tender age of three, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. For Slim, truly a pinnacle that likely won't be topped. RWU was also proud to have Fusion's own David Palma on the sax and Michael Cordone on the trumpet in Frankie Valli's band. 

 

Express Runway Show with Kate Upton and Chris Bosh

Engine Shop Agency of Miami Beach invited Ross B to emcee the million dollar Express Summer 2014 Runway Show at the Raleigh Hotel. The party began with a set by DJ A-Trak and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue cover girl, Kate Upton, came back to her home state to host the show. RWU DJs at Hard Rock's Main Lobby

RWU DJs will be spinning in the main lobby every weekend for the next two months, bringing energy and excitement to guests as they enter the legendary Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Roller girls interact with guests, champagne girls hang upside-down from the ceiling, and RWU DJs rock the turntables to keep guests dancing all night long! Disco Night with KC & the Sunshine Band

RWU's DJ Slim Rok got to boogie down with KC & the Sunshine Band at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's Disco Night! KC & the Sunshine Band stopped by the Hard Rock lobby where DJ Slim Rok had fans "Shake, Shake, Shake" to warm up for a night funk, R&B, and disco fusion!

RWU Emcee Photo Shoot

RWU Emcees Ricky City, Ross B, and Mike Quinn got their swag on for our latest company photo shoot at Jet Runway Cafe in Fort Lauderdale. A Great Big World

Ross Bielejeski took a step back form his typical hosting job and hit the wheels of steal to open up for A Great Big World in another installment of the Bleaulive series at the iconic Fountainebleau Hotel. No one had heard of A Great Big World until two months ago when Christina Aguilera discovered the band on So You Think You Can Dance. She flew the band out to Los Angeles and sang back up vocals on their hit song "Say Something." Great guys, great vibe, great night! 

DJ Dean Michaels Goes to Punta Cana

For the second year in the row, RWU sent DJ Dean Michaels to Punta Cana to deejay an epic five-day event! Man, do we spoil this kid.

Halperin Wedding at Mandarin Oriental

Congratulations to newlyweds Barry and Silvanna Halperin! A two-piece Truvibe group comprised of keys genius, James Dawkins, and the gorgeous singer, Rhea, set the tone for cocktail hour. During the reception, RWU's DJ Slim Rok teamed up with a fourteen-piece Fusion band that ensured guests left tired and happy. Thank you Barry and Silvanna for allowing RWU to be a part of your special day! We wish you a long and happy life together.

Winterfest Boat Parade: Tracy Morgan & Ryan Hunter-Reay

More than one million spectators came out to view the 12-mile parade of festively lighted boats for the 42nd Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade. RWU's DJ Swain hit the wheels of steel on the grand marshal boat as Ross Bielejeski hosted the parade with comedian Tracy Morgan and Indy car champion, and Fort Lauderdale native, Ryan Hunter-Reay. RWU was honored to be a part of this dazzling celebration named one of the "Top 20 Parades in the World" by USA Today!

RWU Rings in the New Year at REVEAL at Hard Rock Live

Guests experienced NYE like a rock star at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's "REVEAL," an opulent boudoir-themed black-tie invitation only soiree. With DJ Slim Rok on the 1s and 2s the party never skipped a beat. Emcee Ross Bielejeski teamed up with 2009 Penthouse Playmate of the Year, Taya Parker, to co-host a night full of electrifying strip tease performances, live music, fireworks, and endless champagne!  Cheers to another great year! Photos by Brandon David Demonbreun.

Trim-a-Christmas Tree Decorating Challenge at Hard Rock

RWU was grateful for the opportunity to host Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's annual "Trim-a-Christmas Tree Decorating Challenge" and food drive in support of local charities. This special event, part of Hard Rock International's 6th annual IMAGINE THERE'S NO HUNGER campaign, awarded Canine Assisted Therapy a $5,000 cash donation to help fight hunger in the community. DJ Slim Rok and Ross Bielejeski welcomed the official Miami Heat singer and good luck charm, Julia Dale, carolers, and the talented violin duo, Sons of Mystro, to the stage to entertain a crowd of well-wishers. RWU's First Stadium Gig

Over 5,000 sales team representatives traveled from across the globe to party RWU style at Marlins Park! Emcee Ross Bielejeski and Fusion kept a continuous flow among the many entertainment acts welcomed to the stage including America's Got Talent 2013 top finalist, William Close and the Earth Harp Collective, featuring the largest string instrument in the world! Guests were wowed by RWU Vocalist Steph Michaels' collaboration with a troupe of dancers in a live performance of Madonna's "Vogue." RWU would like to give a special shout out to Access Florida for bringing RWU in for this epic event. RWU's first stadium gig was an absolute hit and this is just the beginning!
